A REALTOR® is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
Loyalty to clients;
Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
Cooperation with competitors;
Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
Certified Residential Specialist designee, Michael is a member of Residential Real Estate Council. Only 3% of REALTORS are Certified Residential Specialist. CRS designees possess:
A high level of professional experience and sales;
The highest standard of professional ethics;
Specific experience in managing residential transactions;
Strong technical abilities to meet the demands of today's market.
Michael is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist. CPRES are licensed real estate professionals who have undergone training and a certification process to help sellers who need to sell properties that are in probate. CPRES designees possess experience and access to resources to help sellers get the most of their assets in the least inconvenient way possible.
